1" and 2" Chip Brushes

General Description

Natural, undyed bristle (chip) brushes with smooth, unpainted wooden handles. Unaffected by paints, dopes, resins, thinners or solvents.

Velocity Use

Used for applying epoxy to layups.

Packaging Weights

Typically used in the 1" and 2" sizes. I only use the 2" brushes on really big layups, but you'll use quite a few, and tons of the 1" size. Aircraft Spruce

Directions for Use

I like to wet out a piece of plastic for most layups first, and wet out the the area to be bonded (after preparing the surface with a light sanding if it wasn't peel-plied, and then wipe down with alcohol), then brush on epoxy over the entire cloth. Then stipple the glass lightly to make sure the glass is full of epoxy.

Safety and Handling

See MSDS for the epoxy in use.
