Factory Demo, first XL built, N97XL has been deregistered . This aircraft was widely featured in print, being the prototype:
January 1998 Sport Aviation, January 1998 Sport Aviation Flying Qualities, and October 1997 Kitplanes. There is a note on the registration that this airplane was exported to Honduras 03/02/2004. I've been given some new pictures (2012 era-last in the gallery) of this plane in sad condition in 2005 in Tachira, Venezuela (SVBC General José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport). Sad.
