General Description
West System G/5 Five-Minute Adhesive is an easy to use, 2-part resin/hardener system for quick repairs, tooling and general bonding, May be used in spot applications to hold parts in position while standard epoxy bonds cure. Bonds to wood, fiberglass and metal. Not recommended for long-term bonds subject to high loads or moisture. One to one mixture, no pumps are required. Cures in 3 to 5 minutes. This is supplied in the kit and is used for quick bonding to hold parts in position for permanent lay-ups. It will not dissolve the blue foam.
Velocity Use
This is a 2 part epoxy that can be very handy to hold parts (particularly metal) in place until they can be permanently bonded, whether this is to drill and bolt down or lay-up over. Mix 1:1 by weight or volume.
