Maher N4253M was the original factory demonstrator for the new "173" wing, meant to be as easy to fly as the Cessna 172. The larger wing slowed the plane down considerably (see my About Velocity page for a side-by-side), but made easier to fly. This aircraft was featured in the April 1992 Kitplanes.
