Jack passed away earlier this year, and his family would like to sell to someone interested in completing it.

"We are hoping someone will buy it and finish his project. We were also hoping that we could at least see it completed. It would mean a lot to my Mom.  We are asking $30,00.00 for the plane.  I also never mentioned that my Dad kept thorough notes, pictures, etc. as he was building it thus far. He also had someone come out and inspect it during some time and they said he was doing a good job. Dad was a mechanic for Northwest Airlines in his younger days, before he went on to flying them and retiring as a Captain for them."

Currently located at the New Richmond airport in Wisconsin. We are only asking for what he had in it for all of the parts, nothing for the work he had put in it.  After talking with a few people, they estimate it is about 3/4 done. He was working on the interior and the instrument panel when he passed away. We know it has retractable gear and gull wing doors, he had also purchased the seats and the carpeting for the inside. I have also discovered he had replaced the old brake system with the new design one that is available now. He also installed the front oil cooler on the plane.

VELOCITY XL/RG-5 KIT • $35,000 • Kit was purchased as a Full Build.  Wings and canard completed through glassing; makes inspection of the workmanship possible.  Fuselage has keel, bulkheads, center spar section, and landing gear installed.  Steve Goldman was an outstanding craftsman.  He passed away in July of 2008.  The kit is offered with all components as well as all construction tools, jigs and other ancillary items.  There will be assistance available in preparing the kit for transport.

Intent

This page is intended to aid folks in marketing their aircraft, and maybe some of the more thoroughly tested Velocity modifications (e.g. Ken Mishler's nose wheel locking mechanism).  Please don't abuse it and list your 20 year old 10-speed bike here or something....
