T Shirts

SwoopVAB.jpg

Terry Miles and Alex Balic are preparing to order custom Velocity logo apparel. Check out the available shirt types, the logo, place or check your order right here. The logos are at the bottom of this article.

File:Sweatshirts.xls

Hey, folks. Immediately to the left you will see the "standard" shirt back. The "standard" shirt front will be the Velocity factory Logo with the small airplane in the letter O. There is an option for a the airplane pic alone without the Velocity written over and over. So far, if I got all the orders straight, no one has requested the "airplane alone." If you want that, let me know off line. terrence_miles@hotmail.com

The default color for short sleeve and long sleve tee shirts will be white and the lettering in a medium deep blue as is used here: http://velocityaircraft.com The default color for the sweatshirts is the reverse of the tee shirts. That is a medium deep blue with white letterings. The airplane drawing will be in red in all cases.

THE CURRENT DESIGN AND OPTIONS

We have an OK from the factory to use the old sweatshirt design, so that is the current plan. That design is for the VELOCITY logo (see attch) in the front upper left with the letters being about 1 inch high and maybe 4.5 inches across. On the back with be the "SwoopieVAB." That is the swoopie looking airplane with the column of repeated VELOCITY words reading down vertically across the left wing. It is about 14" w by 11" high. You can have this on the front or the back. The airplane will be in Red on all shirts unless you pick a red shirt. The remaining color of the lettering will be dictated by the color of the shirt. (two choices here deep blue or white) The design will be painted on and not stitched. If you want either design on only one side of the shirt it will save you $2. Say you pick out a golf shirt. We can skip the back or put the standard back design on the front and skip the Velo Logo altogether. Just let us know. In fact only have to print on one side will save you about $2.

The DEFAULT SHIRTS

Go to http://www.catalogwearables.com/catalogwearables.com Look under teeshirts and then Gliden. The default tee shirt is the Gliden 2000. The default sweatshirt is the Jerzees 562M. The default shirt design is with the Velocity Logo on the front and the red artistic rendition of the Velo and the words Velocity written in a long collum on the back face of the shirt. If you are happy with the white tee shirts and the dark blue sweatshirts then just tell me so and then give a size and how many. The whole catalog is open to you less nylon jackets. If you want something else. I need the catelogwearables product code, plus all the other info.

THE GARMENT OF YOUR CHOICE

THE PRICE

Catalog Wearables is Alex's supplier. Based on how much we order (I guess) is what he will have to pay, but he is doing all this at his cost. I have nothing to do with this part. He or I will advise each of you of what is owed. There is no price information until he has a look at the total order, but you can go to this website [https://www.queensboro.com/ as a cost guess. Add to this about $6 per order for shipping costs to you which Alex will be doing. Quick aside, if you see something you can't live without at Queensboro or want to go with embroidery, please consider holding off an any individual orders, and we can do the same group purchase over there too. It is just that Alex only can do painting.

THE ORDERING PROCESS

1. Go over to Catalog Wearables and then I need 5 de-limiters. Product code, size, color, how many you want, and last a plain text explanation of what you want on the front and what on the back. You can say "standard" and I get it. No we cannot shrink the back design swoopie airplane or blowup the classic Velocity name logo with the little airplane in the letter O. The price is going to be cheaper than other internet sweatshirt places.

2. Email me me off line. terrence_miles at hotmail.com Have that done by Nov 14.

3. I will then post a spreadsheet of who ordered what, and

4. Alex can call in and get pricing, which he or I will then post on to the spread sheet

5. When it get it that far, check your name, send in the money, and Alex can give us an aprox ready date and get to work.

Last I want to thank Alex for doing this. Brett and Beth for their background help in almost matters like this, Malcolm Collier for helping me with one of the drawings, and Jorge Bujanda for his technical drawings, which are not a part of this go around.

[http://www.catalogwearables.com/ Catalog Wearables I know this is a bit cumbersome for the first time through, but the great advantage is the enormous range of choices. "Build it your way," right...?...Where have I heard that before?

Best regards, everyone Terry ]
